About Us

Hello. My name is Julie Pruett and I have been a hairstylist for 27 years. I started my hairdressing career in New Hampshire at the age of 22. After spending 20 years working in salons, I developed an interest in alternative hair and began working exclusively with wigs, hairpieces, and hair additions at Serenity Wig and Salon in Austin, Texas. It has since become my passion.

Throughout the years, I have had the pleasure of working with many wonderful clients, and am proud to have helped a number of women who have suffered hair loss for various reasons.

It has always been very important to me to be able to cater to the specific needs of all of my clients, taking time to listen to each one and working hard to create a result which they love and which improves their self confidence. I find it extremely rewarding to spend time finding the perfect wig or hair addition for my clients, and then personalizing through cutting, coloring, and styling to suit them perfectly. Seeing the difference that this can make to someone’s life is the greatest pleasure of my work!
